Navigation in the countryside using paths tracks and other linear features, basic map interpretation and compass work is included.
A two day course covering map reading and basic compass skills with plenty of time to practice skills in the outdoors. The course covers the NNAS Bronze Level syllabus and is suitable for complete beginners or those who have some experience with maps but would benefit from a weekend of tuition. For those who require a NNAS certificate, this can be ordered and paid for on successful completion of the course (£10 fee). Accessible by public transport. Local accommodation information provided.
